We had such a great Spring Break away from all of the Northwest rain. We enjoyed family, sunshine, the Jazz game, great food at the Mayan, a trip to the zoo and relaxing in the hot tub. Finley loved being able to play outside with her cousins. Thanks Goaslind Family for such a memorable weekend. We can't wait to see you guys in California!

let him cast the first stone...
Friday night we took the kids to see my brother Rockfords art show at the Black Sheep Gallery (owned by Bryce & Melinda) in SLC. He is an incredible artist. He painted pieces of wood to look like stained glass works of art. It was a vibrant and beautiful show titled "let him cast the first stone" in which he explored themes of judgment and forgiveness (his Easter tribute). We were also able to meet Fanny Bryce for the fist time. She is so precious. She just cuddled up in my arms and fell asleep on my shoulder. What a sweetheart. I love her.
I just came across this quote and love it:
"I don't like that man. I must get to know him better"- Abraham Lincoln

Easter Sunday
Here is a collage of some of my Easter morning favorites. If you can't tell I just adore my little niece Sarah. She is such a doll! I think my nieces and nephew are the most perfect tiny loves on this planet. I savored every moment that I could spend with them Easter morning.
To the right is a shot of Sarah & Tucker. She is 9 months and he is 3 1/2 months old. She is the most petite little thing. They are almost the same size.
Above are photos of my family as well as my brother Bryce's wife Melinda's family. Bryce orchestrated an amazing Easter breakfast. I love my family!

The Hunt & Easter Brunch
I wasn't sure if she was going to understand the concept of hunting for eggs in the bushes. But once she caught wind of what was in the eggs... there was no stopping our little maniac. Thanks Papa Joe & Grandma Ginny for the delicious Easter Brunch & fun surprises. We love you!

Dog Walker for Hire
- Loves dogs
- Has 2 weeks worth of experience.
- Energetic
- Always available except before 10 am (after she's finished watching Sesame Street) and not in the afternoon (naptime) and not after 7:30 pm (bedtime)... other than that she's good to go.
- Won't accept dollar bills (the Easter Bunny tried to give her one and she just tossed it behind her). You can pay her in candy though.
- She may lose your dog. She rarely keeps a tight grip on the leash.
- You may incur some "potty fines." She won't ever pick up poop.
- You may end up having to walk your own dog, and pick up the poop, all while carrying a kicking, spitting and screaming toddler (heads up she also packs a mean punch just ask her dad or her grandma).
- Call us!

The Matt's
Recently Amy and I rented "We are Marshall" and have always been fans of the Bourne series. With those 2 things in mind I hope you enjoy this. I realize this has been out a while and maybe you've seen it but I couldn't help but laugh. Plus it's Letterman, who doesn't love Letterman?!
Hey Roo, is it true? "We'd probably get more chics if we took our shirts off."

i'm busy concocting a weight loss plan.
the goal: to lose 1 pound a week for the next 13 weeks

she's my little wild child. the word that she has been saying the most lately is
CAREFUL
it's probably because i sound like a broken record i'm saying it to her ALL the time.
(case in point:pictured above jumping off the lovesac)
she loves force feeding them to the dog when she is not busy enjoying them herself.
